The Parish of St Andrew’s forms part of a six parish team comprising Halstead, Greenstead Green, Gosfield, Earls Colne, Colne Engaine and White Colne. The team vicar, with particular responsibility for the three Colnes, is the Reverend Vivien Brooks who lives at The Rectory, 5 Shut Lane, Earls Colne, telephone 01787 220347. The Churchwardens are Terri Streamer terri.streamer@btinternet.com and Christopher Chamberlain wccw@hotmail.co.uk. Recently the 'friends' of St. Andrew's, White Colne has been set up for those who wish to help with the maintenance of the church and assist with the financing of repair or improvements to the building and churchyard. Any one wishing to become a 'friend' should contact the churchwarden.
Services are held twice a month on the first and third Sundays at 10.30am. In addition festivals such as Easter and Christmas are also celebrated. Those seeking information or help on baptisms, weddings or funerals should contact the vicar or churchwarden. We have a churchyard clearance, church spring and autumn cleaning day to which all are invited to help and are most welcome. The church is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9.00am to 3.00pm.

The Friends of St. Andrew's, White Colne
continue to provide invaluable moral and financial support to the Church.
As the new Churchwardens of St Andrew’s we would like to tell you a little about the church and services, as well as the Friends of St Andrew’s.
Other than festivals and special services, we have Sunday morning worship twice a month at 10.30am when of course everyone is welcome. The dates of the actual Sundays may be found on the church notice board. Do come to the service and have a look round your village church and churchyard. Of course other than regular services of worship, services of baptism, weddings and funerals also take place; the churchyard being still open for burials.
The Friends of St Andrew’s is an organisation whose aim is simply to assist the church in financing the upkeep and maintenance of the building and grounds of our historic parish church, and to ensure its survival for future generations.
If you would like to know more about your parish church, including dates and details of services or the work of the ‘Friends’ then don’t hesitate to email either of us. We will be delighted to hear from you.

On Sunday 18th September the Church Family held a tea party in the grounds of the church. The occasion was open to everyone, regular churchgoers or occasional, friends, visitors etc. Members of the congregation baked cakes and scones, made sandwiches helped with pots of tea so we all thoroughly enjoyed a superb afternoon tea.
Following the tea, and just as the rains came, we went into the church for a choral/hymns of praise service and were treated to a splendid service of hymns and anthems. Musically we were led by organist and choirmaster Bret Johnson with the choir of St Andrew’s Earls Colne. It really was an uplifting service, all the hymns were chosen by members of
the congregation, and it was truly lovely to see our old church so full.
Of course everyone, both from the village and beyond, are welcome to all the services. So do come and join us at our
Sunday worship.
For your diary special services coming up will be:;
Carol Service, Sunday 18th December at 11.30am
Christmas Day, Family Festival Service at 11.00am
Remember children are most welcome to all our services
