Spring Flowers on the Green

Images of Spring

27 April 2009

Over the past week, or so,  the first blossom has appeared on the new apple trees in the Community Orchard. About half of the dozen trees are in flower with some of the later-fruiting culinary varieties to follow.

The pictures show three desert apples and one culinary variety (Woodford).
